Rapid Solutions International, a UAE-based wholesaler of used, refurbished, and new IT products, has earned the R2v3 certification, a prestigious ITAD standard established and overseen by SERI (Sustainable Electronics Recycling International).
The R2v3 certification process took nearly a year and involved rigorous audits of the company's environmental, health and safety, downstream vendor, legal compliance, internal data security, sanitization, and quality management systems.
By achieving the R2v3 certification, Rapid Solutions International has shown its dedication to environmental stewardship, data security and destruction, facility safety, and worker well-being throughout the recycling process. The certification is granted by a consortium of electronics recycling stakeholders, in addition to SERI.
Moreover, Rapid Solutions International has renewed its ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001 certifications. ISO 14001 covers environmental management systems. ISO 45001 ensures the health and safety of the workforce. ISO 27001 deals with information security management. ISO 9001 encompasses quality testing, refurbishment, data sanitization, and recycling of used electronic equipment, while taking into account the environmental and occupational impacts.
These certifications also entail comprehensive audits and continual enhancements of the company's facilities, which offer transparency to organizations and companies that want to reduce their environmental footprint and safeguard their data or hardware after disposal.
