As a wholesaler of used, refurbished, and new IT products, Rapid Solutions International, based in the UAE, announced the achievement of the R2v3, an esteemed ITAD certification set up and monitored by SERI (Sustainable Electronics Recycling International).
Rapid Solutions International was certified as an R2v3 certified facility after an almost yearlong process involving audits of environmental, health and safety, downstream vendors, legal compliance, internal data security, sanitization, and quality management systems.
A company that receives an R2v3 certification has demonstrated its commitment to environmental protection, data privacy and destruction, facility security, and worker safety during recycling. In addition to Sustainable Electronics Recycling International, the certification is issued by a cooperative of electronics recycling stakeholders.
Aside from the R2v3 certification, Rapid Solutions International has also been recertified in ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001. ISO 14001 focuses on environmental management systems. As part of ISO 45001, our workforce's health and safety are prioritized, while ISO 9001 addresses quality testing, refurbishment, data sanitization, and recycling of used electronic equipment while considering both the protection of the environment and its employees' health and safety.
